Nailed It: Green Color Block

These didn't turn out as I had originally planned.

I was going for a green and gold color block using the two different shades of green for the top and bottom and then I was going to do a gold triangle in the middle. Like a tri-tone color block.

Here's my concept art drawn in paint. I know, my talents are wasted.

Anyway, I like what I ended up with, and it was a lot less work, since I didn't have to do two taped off layers. Man that would have taken hours. I don't have the patience.

So I used Sinful Colors Rise N Shine for the teal and Revlon Sassy for the lime. It's actually more of a granny smith apple on the nail, even though it was very lime in the bottle. The gold is Revlon Gold Coin.

I like them a lot. I always buy super cheap polish, but I've never had a problem with any of them. The Revlon always seemed to be on sale at my grocery store and the Sinful Colors are like two bucks. The teal has a really subtle shimmer and it's gorgeous in the right light. The gold is a nice cool metallic, and really shiny. I'm happy with these.

    1. I don't know! I tweet about it all the time, so you must've just missed it. And of course. I'll bring my entire collection of polishes.
