Fantasy Gymnastics Recap: Regular Season

It was an extremely close race in my conference, but at the end of the regular season, I just barely edged out Flipflopologist, 197.694 to 197.693. One one-thousandth of a point! Luckily, my worthy competitor is also moving on to the post-season in one of the ten wild card sports across the league! It's still on.

This past weekend was a break while the NCAA gets ready for regionals. The seeding is all set, and it's time for me to build my post-season line-ups. After all, I have to be in the top fifteen players this week in order to move on to Nationals. So let's take a look at my regular season ups and downs:

Road to Regionals

Last year, I did most of my line-ups based on season averages, but it was when I introduced Hit Percentage and Hit Average into my calculations that I noticed a lower discrepancy between my score and highest potential score on each event.

This year, I took that one step further and calculated what I called "Expected Score." This number took into account season average, hit average, last year's average, standard deviation, hit percentage, to calculate the number I could expect each girl to score on each event.

When I took only the math into account, I did extremely well, usually within only a few tenths, and in week 6, I performed perfectly. However, sometimes I let my heart help with my line-ups: this is where I faltered. I kept putting Austin Sheppard into my Bar line-up before she was ready, and this cost me. In week 8, I scored only a 197.3 out of a possible 197.825, my biggest difference of the second half of the season. I definitely learned to trust the statistics.

Seasonal Superstars

My season MVP has to be none other than the amazing Georgia Dabritz (Utah). Georgia competed All-Around for my team for most of the season, with a break on Beam for only a couple weeks. However, she came back to that event on fire, and was the anchor of my entire team. Georgia's calculated expected scores on her three best events were 9.915 on Floor, 9.925 on Vault, and a crazy 9.948 on Bars!

Another All-Arounder that made line-ups easy to orchestrate each week was Lauren Beers (Alabama). Although her misses were harsh, her hits were incredible contributions to my scores each week. Her expected scores were higher than a 9.85 on all events, but Floor was clearly where she shined with an expected 9.907.

My event specialists included Ciera Perkins on Vault, with an expected 9.894; Chelsea Davis on Bars with 9.881; Sunny Kato on Beam with a 9.876; and Carley Sims on Floor with 9.884.

Trades of Change

Trades were a huge twist this season, and they brought a lot of dynamic to not only my team, but the entire league. Suddenly, injured gymnasts or those not performing up to expectations could be dropped and replaced with a potential 9.9. This was huge for me. Over the course of the season I made the following trades:

  • Dropped torn achilles Serena Leong (Cal) for Vault star and all-arounder Camille Drouin-Allaire (GWU)
  • Dropped injured Kristen Klarenbach (Arizona) for Floor specialist Chantelle Loehner (EMU)
  • Dropped injured Taylor Noonan (CMU) for Bars anchor Jaime Armijo (Southern Utah)
  • Dropped low scoring Jordan Hardison (Kent St) for Beam star Laura Mitchell (BGSU)
  • Dropped low scoring Taylor Bolender (CMU) to grab healed Taylor Noonan back for Beam
All of these girls made huge contributions to my line-ups on their specialized events, and definitely helped me edge out the competition. While I was sad to see Serena Leong and Kristen Klarenbach go, as they are two gymnasts I love watching, their injuries meant they wouldn't be competing at all.

Fantasy Gymnastics Recap Week 8: What Goes Up

Thanks LemonJenny for the picture of Utah Gymnastics!

Wow. What a rough week for me, and it's going to be tough to recover from it this late in the season. With a low score on Bars, my team only managed to rustle up a 197.3. This doesn't sound too terrible, but it was enough of a drop that it let me fall into second place in my division and 18th overall. Let's talk a little bit about what went wrong.

Too Much Depth

I've had a little bit of trouble with Jennifer Lauer (Nebraska) this entire season. The line-ups for the Huskers just keep changing, and that means that it's becoming extremely difficult to predict whether the senior is going to compete on Bars each week. However, when she does compete, she gets a pretty good score -- one that I don't want to miss.

Another NCAA team with a ton of depth is Alabama. Lauren Beers tends to compete All Around, which had been pretty dependable since week 3 when she was put into the Floor line-up. However, this week, Carley Sims was taken out of the Beam line-up after making it last week and placed into Bars for only the second time this season.

It All Falls Down

Bars and Beam were a mess of splats this week for me. While the lowest score I counted (a 9.525 on Bars) was not a fall, it's definitely not what I would consider a hit routine. In addition to a 0 from Jennifer Lauer, my Bars crew dropped a 9.25 from Austin Sheppard (Michigan) and a 9.175 from Beers. On Beam, I dropped a 0 from Sims, 9.625 from specialist Lauren Mitchell (BGSU), a 9.7 from either Jennie Laeng (Nebraska) or Halle Moraw (CMU), having to count the other 9.7.

It was my fault for not trusting the numbers, however. Sheppard, for example, didn't show up in the line-up according to my calculation of expected score. However, I decided to put her in over Sunny Kato (Illinois), who earned a 9.85 this week. Next week, I'm going to try listening to the statistics. My highest possible score this week was a 197.85, .55 higher than I scored, making this my worst line-up since week 2.

Some Bright Spots

Georgia Dabritz continues to shine on Bars with a 9.95 and Floor with a 9.9. Although her 9.875 on Vault was the lowest score I counted on that event. Ciera Perkins (Boise State) is my specialist of the week, earning a 9.95 on Vault and a 9.9 on Bars. Lindsay Offutt (Pittsburgh) pulled in two 9.9's on Beam and Floor. Unfortunately, she wasn't in my Beam line-up.

Fantasy Gymnastics Recap Week 7: Over the Hill?

Thanks for the image, Julochka!
Well, my team broke 198 for the second week in a row, but it wasn't quite the showing that they had last week. I had to count at least one score in the 9.825-9.875 range on each event. However, those were balanced out by a few of my stars. Am I a little worried that my team has reached its peak, and that we've scored the dropped high score already? Yeah, but I've moved up into first place in my division and 11th overall. So, for now I think I'm in a good place.

Week 7 Superstars

Georgia Dabritz (Utah) got another 10.0 on Bars. I love her bar routine, especially that Comaneci, but I'm surprised she hasn't pulled out any of those huge scores on Floor. Have we seen a 10 on Floor yet this season from anyone? Cami Drouin-Allaire (GWU) got a 9.95 on Vault, which is exactly what I picked her up to do. Lauren Beers (Alabama) pulled out a great All-Around with two 9.95's (Bars/Floor) and a 9 on Vault.

Beam Problems

Balance Beam was my back to being my weakest event this week after rising up last week. I got only 49.375 after two of my regulars didn't compete the event - Dabritz and Jennie Laeng (Nebraska). It might be time to shake things around in that line-up a little bit. I didn't put in Lindsay Offutt (Pittsburgh) and she earned a 9.85. I also have a little wiggle room in trades, since I haven't put Taylor Bolender (CMU) in a line-up in a couple weeks.

Around the League

RQS started this week, but it didn't shake things up too much in the top of the team rankings. Oklahoma looks like they'll be tough to topple this year. LSU and Florida are still fighting for that number two spot. But oh man, did you see Oklahoma almost get upset by Michigan? That would have been crazy. And of course the biggest NCAA news this week is Kyla Ross's commitment to UCLA. I would have loved to see her at Stanford, but she'll do great with Miss Val's famous choreography.

Fantasy Gymnastics Recap Week 6: Welcome to the Club!

Thanks to Collin Harris for the image!
Heyo, welcome to the 198 club! It's an elusive group, but this season it includes Oklahoma, LSU, Florida, and my fantasy team. That's right, for the first time, I have broken 198 for the week, which is always the goal, and I've done it in a pretty spectacular manner with a 198.312. The bad news is that it's going to be tough to repeat, and that the highest score gets dropped. However, the good news is that last weeks 197.931 will count toward my FQS average, and my team is a fully functioning machine. So let's break it down:

Not Quite Perfect, but Darn Close

I didn't get to count any 10's this week, which is a bit of a let down, but it does show that my team is incredibly well-rounded with a lot of depth. Of my twenty routines that counted toward this week's total all of them were 9.9 or above! For a team missing girls from any of the top 3 schools (Oklahoma, LSU, Florida), this is pretty impressive.

My superstars this week included Mary Jane Horth (Illinois) with a 9.975 on Bars and 9.9 on Beam, Cami Drouin-Allaire (GWU) with a 9.925 on Vault, and my two-meeter Ciera Perkins with averages of 9.9125 on Vault and 9.25 on Bars. My usual star, Georgia Dabritz had a rough Beam showing, with a fall for only a 9.3. It's okay though, because the rest of my team covered for her.

The More Things Change

I haven't put the exact same line-up in two weeks in a row yet this season, and not just because of bye weeks. My trading has been working incredibly well. Each time I trade a gymnast, she immediately makes the line-up, and often contributes. This week, I dropped Jordan Hardison (Kent State) and picked up a Bars and Beam specialist from Bowling Green, Laura Mitchell. Immediately she was in the Beam line-up. She probably won't contribute on Bars barring an injury to another athlete, because that rotation is headlined by superstars, and I got a 49.675 for the week.

An addition from a couple weeks ago, Chantelle Leohner (EMU) contributed one of my 9.9's on Floor this week, contributing to the rotation's 49.5. One of my favorite parts of Fantasy Gym is seeing these big scores from girls I may not otherwise follow because they aren't from popular schools. Some of my team's best athletes are from lower ranking schools like CMU, Illinois, and Pittsburgh.

The Rest of the Division

My fantasy team currently sits at 3rd in my division and 35th overall, but I've been building up my average slowly. Hopefully a few more weeks will let me move up the ranks. My competition has some pretty fantastic girls, however. The first place team features freshman standouts Alex McMurtry (Florida) and Vivi Babalis (Georgia). Second place lucked out with veterans Caitlin Atkinson (Auburn) and Ashleigh Gnat (LSU). It'll be a tough run, but I'm working my way up!

Fantasy Gymnastics Recap Week 5: Higher and Higher

Thanks to Stefano Domenici for the picture!
Another week, another trade! This week I dropped Taylor Noonan, who was injured at the beginning of the season. In her place, I picked up a Bars anchor from Southern Utah, Jaime Armijo. Her average is above 9.8, and even though I already have two bar specialists in Chelsea Davis (Georgia) and Austin Sheppard (Michigan), it was an event I'd been hurting on.

Week 5 Superstars

Obviously, Georgia Dabritz (Utah) is my number one. She's basically my anchor, and I depend on her scores a lot. This week, she scored her second 10.0 of the season, this time on Vault. I just hope she improves on beam a little bit and she'd basically be perfect.

Mary Jane Horth (Illinois). Did you see her bar routine this week? Pretty gorgeous, if you ask me. And apparently the judges too, since she got a 9.975. Love it. Lauren Beers (Alabama) got three 9.9's this week on Bars, Beam, and Floor, and Sunny Kato (Illinois) got two on Bars and Beam. But my surprise star of the week was Lindsay Offutt (Pittsburgh) with a 9.925 on Floor.

Team Analysis

Thanks to Road to Nationals, I don't have to constantly chart each of my gymnasts' progress, because they do it for me! Here are a few charts for some of the athletes that are contributing the most to my fantasy team over the last 5 weeks:

Dabritz | Horth | Beers | Moraw | Laeng | Hanset | Offutt

This week, my weakness was Beam for sure, but it's pretty clear that the event has been a problem all season, so far. I probably would have been fine had Halle Moraw (CMU) not fallen on her best event, but because she did, I had to count Dabritz's 9.775, my lowest score on any event this week.

Around the League

There was a bit of a disagreement over scoring at the LSU vs Georgia meet. LSU superstar, Rheagan Courville, scored a 9.95 for a Vault that did not have a great landing. Speaking of scoring discrepencies, Tory Wilson (Utah) got a 10 that many are saying she didn't really deserve as well. I know the scoring has gone way, way up in the past few years. Personally, I think it's time to reevaluate the scoring system. There's a ten-point scale, but it's rare to see a score below a 9. When 90% of you scoring system is hardly even in use, something needs to be changed.

Fantasy Gymnastics Recap Week 4: Mixing Things Up

Thanks to Raphael Goetter for the photo!

This week, I decided to finally take advantage of a new feature on College Fantasy Gymnastics: trading! Now, when I first heard we were going to be allowed trades, I was a little worried. I thought I'd have to be trading with other players! Luckily, the trade system works more like free agency in other fantasy sports.

After week 3's 197, it was time to trim the fat and make my team run a little bit more efficiently. If a gymnast isn't contributing, and I don't see a sign that they will in the next few weeks, it's time to drop them. Unfortunately, this meant letting go of a couple favorites this week.

Adds and Drops

I mentioned in Week 1 that I love Kristen Klarenbach's (Arizona) floor routine. However, I haven't been able to find much information about her injury. According to The College Gymnastics Board's injury list, she's out for the season for unknown reasons. I decided it would be better to pick up someone who can contribute, especially on Floor. I went with a Junior from Eastern Michigan, Chantelle Loehner. She's a specialist, only competing on floor, but her average before this week was a 9.867.

Another gymnast I was sad to see go was Cal's Serena Leong. She tore her Achilles, and I know from past seasons that that's an injury that it's tough to recover from, especially in only 12 weeks. To replace her Vault score, but with potential for other events, I picked up All-Around Freshman from GWU, Camille Drouin-Allaire. I probably won't use this new athlete for her bars or beam at all, but she can certainly contribute on Vault, where I needed her the most, and possibly Floor.

Welcome to the 10.0 Club

Thank you, Ciera Perkins! The Boise State superstar pulled out my fantasy team's first 10 of the season with a big score on Vault. Joining her in the club is Georgia Dabritz, who earned her first 10 with a huge bar routine, helping her hold her position as the top ranked All-Arounder. Both of these big numbers helped my team to our current season high of 197.85!

The rest of the league didn't see much in the way of 10's. In fact, Dabritz had the only one in any of the top ten ranked schools this week. However, there were still some amazing performances around the league. Haley Scaman got the top score on 3 events during Oklahoma's two-meet weekend, including a 9.9 on Bars, 9.925 on Vault, and 9.95 on Floor. The Florida freshman are spectacular as well. I would love to have Alex McMurtry or Kennedy Baker in my line-up!

Fantasy Gymnastics Recap: Week 3 - Movin' On Up

Thanks to Maggie Holmgren for the picture!
Week 3 was the best so far, and not just because I got the highest score yet. At this point, I'm still expecting my athletes to improve each week, as they settle into the season and get past those early nerves of new routines and half a year off. No, this week was good for my fantasy team because I scored only 0.25 points lower than my possible high, which means my statistics and predictions are working!

Of course, there is no way to fully predict what's going to happen. A gymnast can get injured in warm-up and not compete or have a rough week with multiple falls - even if she's the best on the team. That's why 0.25 is so impressive. All my girls performed as well as I expected them to. In fact, my overall score was better than I expected. That is probably because I go for a low estimate when calculating the expected score.

Since it's the 3rd week, I figured it was time to give you a glimpse into how I calculate each expected score, so that I can start building my line-ups each week. The way Fantasy Gym works, I have 20 gymnasts, and each week choose 8 per event. Of those 8 the 5 highest scores count. Today, I'm going to tell you about Hit Average and Consistency

Hit Average

The Fantasy Gymnastics website gives you each athletes' average score and most recent score on an event, but this takes into account every performance - including falls. I wanted a number that represented how the gymnast scores when she performs as expected without falling, or hits her routine. To do this, I calculate the ratio of hit routines to total competitions. Then I find the average of just those hit scores.

For example, Georgia Dabritz (Utah), my superstar on bars has competed 3 times and hit her routine all 3 of those times. Her hit percentage is 100%. However, Lindsay Offutt (Pitt) has hit only 2 of 3, for a hit percentage of 66.7%. Using just averages, Lindsay wouldn't make my line-up, but when I take into account her hit average, she does.

Consistency

High hit scores are great, but I need to make sure that each week I have 5 consistent scores to count each week. I don't want to be counting falls, and I especially don't want to count anymore zeroes after week 1. To determine consistency I calculate two different values: first, I get the standard deviation of all the routines competed. Luckily, I don't have to calculate that by hand since my spreadsheet does the work for me. The second value I calculate is hit range, which tells me how much the scores for a single gymnast can differ week to week - not including major errors.

Maybe in a future week I'll tell you how I calculate hit average together with consistency to come up with my final line-up. Or maybe I'll keep that secret to myself.

Around the League

So, it's not a good recap unless I talk a little about how gymnasts performed outside of my team. Here were some of this week's superstars, and girls I wish I had to pull my scores up even higher:
  • Elizabeth Price (Stanford) pulled out a 10 on Vault and a 9.925 on Bars
  • Brittany Rogers (Georgia) got a 9.975 on Bars this week
  • Kytra Hunter (Florida) performs a gorgeous Floor routine for a 9.975, and the same on Vault
  • Brenna Dowell (Oklahoma) got the NCAA's first 10 on Bars of the season!
  • Ashley Lambert (Nebraska) got her second 10 in a row on Vault

Fantasy Gymnastics Recap: Week 2

Thanks to Simon Syon for the photo

After a rough beginning, week two felt like a sigh of relief for my fantasy team. I didn't have to count a zero! However, my gymnasts are trying to make me nervous by not competing on events they competed on last week. Line ups are rough this season.

Week 2 Overview

Vault: I always expect better things from Vault, and while I did nearly perfect this week, being only .05 off from my best possible score, it was only my third best event overall. Highlights included a 9.9 from Chelsea Raineri (GWU) and a 9.875 from Georgia Dabritz (Utah), who I'd expect to be in the 9.9's more often.

Bars: Bars was okay this week, thanks to my Illinois girls: Sunny Kato's 9.925 and Mary Jane Horth with a 9.9. I would have had another 9.9, if it weren't for Chelsea Davis (Georgia) dropping to a 9.825 on her second meet of the weekend for an average on 9.8625.

Beam: Sunny Kato is also my beam leader right now, but her competition isn't too stiff. I ended up counted a 9.45 from Lindsay Offutt (Pittsburgh). Luckily, my line-up wasn't as terrible as Georgia this week. The GymDogs fell apart, counting 3 falls, yikes!

Floor: Georgia Dabritz hit for a 9.95 and Halle Moraw (CMU) got a 9.9, both significant improvements over last week, and also fantastic scores for me! I also counted Carley Sims (Alabama) for a 9.9 as well as a 9.875, and a 9.85. My 49.495 was the maximum possible for my team this week and I picked the perfect line-up!

Out of the Line Up

It's very difficult to find information about line-ups and injured athletes. Fantasy gymnastics isn't as popular as the major sports, so injury reports just aren't a thing.

For the first time, Fantasy Gym introduced trading gymnasts. I looked into it, but I have a few girls on my team I'm keeping around even though they are injured.

  • Austin Sheppard (Michigan) should come back in a few weeks and be a superstar on Bars.
  • Kristin Klarenbach (Arizona) can only help to improve my already excellent Floor line-up
  • Serena Leong (Cal) didn't compete this week, but hopefully it's nothing serious
As for girls I am considering dropping, I'll have to do a little more research on who is still available to pick up instead. Right now, I'm doing okay. Every girl on my team (except the injured few) made at least one line-up. I'll start dropping gymnasts if anyone turns into filler.

Girls I Wish I Drafted

  • Nebraska Vault Line-up: This team counted a 9.9, 9.925, 9.95, 9.975, and 10 on VT this week for a 49.5. I have two Husker's on my team, but neither made it into this high score-fest.
  • Girls Who Don't Compete Twice: Both my girls who had multiple meet weekends dropped their scores in the second meet. I lost two 9.9's for 9.8625's instead. It's a little rough.
  • Ashley Lambert or Alex McMurtry: Man, I would love to have one of those 10's on my team. Have you seen these Vaults? Beautiful.

Fantasy Gymnastics Recap: Week 1

What a rough start for my team! I ended this week having to count a zero on Vault, which left my score much lower than I wanted or expected. Hopefully, now that I am a little bit more familiar with my gymnasts, what events they might compete on, and what their routines look like, I can improve in the coming weeks. I'd love to be able to drop this 186.

Week 1 Superstars

I have a strange feeling that Georgia Dabritz is going to make this list every week. It's awesome to see her getting big numbers right out of the gate. Her 9.925 (Vault) and 9.9 (Bars) definitely boosted my score. However, I hope she starts competing Beam as well. Her routine looked much improved from last year in Utah's preseason videos.

Some 9.875's from Pauline Hanset (Stanford) on Floor, Chelsea Davis (Georgia) on Bars, and Serena Leong (Cal) on Vault. Those are excellent starts, and hopefully a sign of more good scores to come for those routines. A surprisingly good showing from Carley Sims with a 9.825 on Vault and 9.875 on Floor. Unfortunately, as I'm not too familiar with her gymnastics, I didn't put her in my line-up this week.

Georgia Dabritz on Vault - 9.925; gif made by me

My  Line-up Mistakes

For week one, I did my line-ups mostly based on the athletes' 2014 RQS. Having a Regional Qualifying Score meant the gymnast competed on an event regularly, whereas a season average doesn't take into account whether she was a regular in a line-up or just filled in for an injured teammate.

Where I went wrong wasn't in using this score, but it was in not doing enough research on my girls before week 1. I had four girls in my line-ups that didn't compete at all this week. It's my own fault for putting in Ciera Perkins when Boise State had a week 1 by. However, I'm still not sure why Kristin Klarenbach didn't compete for Arizona. I hope she's not injured badly because I love her floor routine. I know now that Austin Sheppard from Michigan is out for a couple weeks, which is a shame, as her bar score could help me a lot. Finally, I have no idea why Taylor Noonan didn't compete for CMU this week, as she performed okay last weekend.

Girls I Wish I Drafted

Oh boy, some of these girls really started off the season right, and it's an understatement to say that I'm jealous of anyone with these athletes on their fantasy teams right now:

  • Someone from Oklahoma on Beam. Oh man, Chayse Capps topped it off with a 9.925, but I miss those days of having Erica Brewer and Madison Mooring to hold my beam line-up steady.
  • Bridgette Caquatto. The Florida Bridget(te)'s are amazing, but Caquatto takes the cake this week with her 9.95 (Bars) and 9.925 (Floor). Sloan's 10 on Vault is incredible as well, but she had a rough time on floor. I hope her ankle is okay!
  • Anyone from LSU: This is my first year that my team isn't anchored by Rheagan Courville, and I miss her! However, I'd love to have any Tigers on my fantasy team, since they are my favorite to root for outside of the game. Jessie Jordan's slew of 9.925's (Bars, Beam, Floor) certainly don't hurt either!

Fantasy Gymnastics Recap: Week 0

I'm playing College Fantasy Gymnastics for the third year now, and it's about to get started. This past weekend, we saw a couple meets to kick off the season. Luckily (since I only had 4 girls on my team competing) it only counted as a practice week. Each week, I'll take you in depth into how I run my gymnastics team: from statistics to beautiful routines, from leotard fashions to girls I wish I drafted. I might even make a couple animated gifs, if I find the time.

Week 0 Superstars

Only four of my athletes competed in this intro week, so they are all superstars to me. However, I'm going to look at their early scores and analyze what that could mean for their upcoming season. First, from University of California Berkeley (or Cal) is Serena Leong. Serena competed this week on Vault (9.825), Beam (9.8), and Floor (9.6). Vault and beam are a good showing for the first meet out. You want to see a gymnast improve over the course of the season, and those scores will make for a solid base. As for floor, a 9.6 is rough, and will pull down her average all season. Hopefully she can pick back up and score some 9.9's, like her 2014 season high: 9.925.

I also had three gymnasts from Central Michigan compete this past week. Now, CMU isn't known for being one of the top schools in College Gym, but they have had a few fantastic athletes come through. Last year, Brittany Petzold was a staple in many of my line-ups, because I knew she'd pull out a solid score week after week. This year, I have Hallie Moraw, who had top marks for her team on Vault (9.65), Beam (9.75) and Floor (9.725). My Taylors (Noonan and Bolender) didn't have the greatest start, but I think they'll improve based on their 2014 stats.

Girls I Wish I Drafted

Oh man, it's tough to watch some of these gymnasts that I don't have on my team hitting big scores right out of the gate. Elizabeth Price from Stanford wasn't even expected to compete, and she managed to pull out a 9.95 on vault. Yeah, I'm feeling jealous of the players who got Ebee on their team for sure. As for CMU, my three athletes are going to have good years, but seeing Kylie Fagan get a 9.9 on bars made me want to trade in all my Chippewas for that score.

What's New?

This year, for the first time, we get to trade girls onto and off our team. This could be game changing, especially for season ending injuries, surprise freshman superstars and when your line-up just starts to feel a little bland. I'm pretty excited to get the season going and see how this new rule adds a new dynamic to Fantasy Gym.

Introducing Fandoms

I hear it all the time from my friends, "I can't date him if he doesn't watch Firefly" or "How have you never seen Doctor Who - we're not friends!"

Ask anyone I know, and they'll tell you Disney is my biggest fandom!
This is one school of thought to which I just can't subscribe. See, the thing is, I love introducing people to new fandoms. It's a brilliant feeling watching them watch or play or just be a part of something I love.
