1. Well, I got offered a job and I'm moving to Arizona! It's going to be quite a change for this northeastern girl, but hey, it could be exciting and fun. It's definitely going to be an adventure, right? Moving will be better than being stuck subletting and crashing on couches while looking for work.

I Love New York
I was offered a job this past week that involves me moving clear across the country.
While I'm excited for the position, the adventure in a new city, and the chance to really start a life where I'm not worried about being broke constantly, I've come to love upstate New York as my home, and I'm truly going to miss many things about it.

Oh Hey, LA!
Can you believe I'd never been to Los Angeles before this summer?
I've been to Anaheim three times now. I've hit up San Francisco quite a few. San Diego? Yep, done that. I've stopped some other places in the west like Washington and Arizona - but somehow never LA.

Wedding Bells in San Francisco
What a fantastic and much-needed vacation! I'm going to be writing about this trip for weeks - which is probably good, considering that for the next couple weeks, I really need to be focusing on job applications, cover letters, and interviews (cross your fingers that I actually get some). Hey, maybe I'll even get to travel for some interviews, but honestly, if I don't get on a plane again for a couple months, I think I'd be okay with that.
So, San Francisco, huh?

Nailed It: 4th of July
Fourth of July, huh. Yesterday, we passed the halfway point of 2013. Actually the Boy and I calculated it out and determined that halftime occurred at exactly 1 pm (local time) on July 3.

Or if you live in one of those places that makes sense like Arizona where's there's no Daylight Saving Time, noon on July 3. Anyway, in honor of the holiday I did a pretty traditional patriotic manicure. At first I was thinking fireworks, but I actually own red, white, and blue nail polish now so I had to honor the flag.

Friday Five Things [06/21/13]
1. It's the First Day of Summer! Happy summer guys! That means it's also National Wear Your Lilly Day, so of course I am. I'm wearing my pink, lace Lilly Pulitzer skirt with a grey tank top and a white and pink polka dot (with hidden Mickeys!) scarf. My toenails are hot pink to match. Here's a picture of me wearing a similar outfit on a cruise ship this past spring.

Nailed It: Sparkly Baby Pink
Time for another post about my nail polish obsession!
I was looking for more neutral shades when I stumbled upon this gorgeous milky baby pink. It's Sinful Colors, so you know it's going to be easy on the wallet.

Nailed It: Green Color Block
These didn't turn out as I had originally planned.
I was going for a green and gold color block using the two different shades of green for the top and bottom and then I was going to do a gold triangle in the middle. Like a tri-tone color block.

Luniversary
Last night The Boy and I celebrated being together for one month.
I know, I know. That's not very long. But everything has to start somewhere, right?

Friday Five Things [04/26/13] on Tuesday
1. By the time this posts today, I'm in Disney World for B's Bachelorette Weekend! Yeah, my family goes to WDW all the time, but it never gets any less exciting. And this time we're having a totally girls weekend with all the bridesmaids and family and a few friends to celebrate the wedding this summer. It's going to be totally awesome. [Note: I forgot to schedule this to post! So now I'm back and posting it late]

Fancy Schmancy
My old apartment had a Formal Party last Friday.
Essentially this means we all got dressed up real fancy and drank out of clear plastic cups instead of those awful red Solo cups. Classy, right? Actually, we all had a really nice time and there were no disasters. Good night overall, and of course I took a bunch of pictures.

Friday Five Things [03/15/13]
I decided I'm going to post about five things I've been thinking about, dealing with, or whatever each Friday. Just little things on my mind, so let's get started.

Dress Me Up!
I love getting dressed up. Seriously, give me and occasion and I am so ready to primp. This is interesting because on any given day I could be found wearing sweatpants and an over sized sweater, fuzzy socks, and my hair pulled back into a low ponytail.
Granted, I don't dress like that in public. I'll at least put on jeans and a sweater that fits if I'm going out.
